Current Projects

Below are just some of the projects we at The Liam M. Kinne Foundation are working on.  Please stop back from time to time as we will be updating this page frequently.

Blankets From Liam

Our newest initiative at the Liam M. Kinne Foundation is called "Blankets From Liam".  We will be donating hundreds of Liam M. Kinne baby blankets to Golisano Children's Hospital (where Liam was born) to welcome new arrivals with warmth and love into a world that is changing for the better. We're currently fundraising for this event so please feel free to visit our Donations Page and remember no monetary amount is too small!  We thank you for your consideration - God bless.

Liam M. Kinne Memorial Open

The Liam M. Kinne Memorial Open is a golf tournament our foundation has hosted two straight years in memoriam of Liam Matthew Kinne.  Liam was born October 16, 2014 with a rare medical condition and sadly lost his courageous fight after only 46 short days on this earth. Liam is now thankfully at peace and watching over all his loved ones from heaven as their little Guardian Angel.  Proceeds from this tournament will go to a scholarship we have setup in his name at the VVS School district to two students enrolled in either the Health Professions or Early Childhood Education programs at Madison-Oneida BOCES.

Our goal each year will be to raise enough money to cover both scholarships ($500 per individual). Any excess funds we raise will go towards helping us obtain our 501 (c)(3), which will enable us to  be recognized as a not-for-profit organization.

Merry Christmas!

With Christmas quickly approaching we are pleased to announce for the 2nd straight year The Liam M. Kinne Foundation is teaming up with Kids Oneida in support of their Adopt a Family Program: "The Adopt a Family program was started at Kids Oneida in 2001 as a way to provide some holiday cheer for the children and families we served. That first year, the program provided gifts and food to almost 30 families, with just over 70 children. Thirteen years later in 2014, we served over 190 families and close to 550 children. Kids Oneida continues to grow and expand every day in our vision and commitment of Keeping Families Together. This year, even MORE families will need your help!

The program matches donors like yourself with families in need. You can shop for the gifts if you wish, or make a monetary donation and our staff will do the shopping for you. All gifts stay right here in our region, supporting local children and families who need that little bit of extra help to make their holiday brighter." For those who wish to inquire more information - please do not hesitate to ask. The goal of The LMK Foundation this Christmas is to sponsor up to 20 kids, and we are thoroughly excited to have this opportunity to make a difference!

Volunteering

One of the aims of the LMK Foundation is to provide an avenue for young minds and adults alike to join together in service of their community through volunteer work.
