501 (c)(3) Update

As we get ready for this year's 2nd annual LMK Memorial Open which will be held on Saturday, July 9th, 2016 at Rome Country Club, we wanted to share some exciting news with you all. Today The Liam M. Kinne Foundation, Inc., received its Certification of Incorporation sealed by the State of New York and signed by the Executive Deputy Secretary of State - Anthony Giardina.

This marks great progress for The LMK Foundation Inc., and is a significant accomplishment in the process of receiving our 501(c)(3) (tax exemption) status from the Internal Revenue Service. IRS Pub 557 indicates that the effective date of our exemption will be retroactive to our date of incorporation which is January 8th, 2016. What this means: Individuals and businesses alike can now make charitable contributions to The LMK Foundation Inc., as a tax deductible expense. Together we can make a difference, because Life is a Miracle Worth Serving!
